Air Pollution

Supporting Intergovernmental networks and meetings

We support intergovernmental initiatives and promote regional cooperation on issues related to transboundary air pollution and other environmental issues. The RRC.AP provides technical support to the Secretariat of the Malé Declaration on Control and Prevention of Air Pollution and Its Likely Transboundary Effects for South Asia (Male' Declaration), and an implementing partner to the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET). Both intergovernmental networks are working towards regional cooperation on transboundary air pollution issues in the South Asia and East Asia (including Southeast Asia) regions, respectively.
