Our goals and mission

The economic growth experienced in the Asian region over recent decades has led to increased emissions of air pollutants due to rapid industrialization, motorization, and urbanization, including constructions, open burning of waste and agricultural residues, land use changes, etc.  Emission of air pollutants from these activities has resulted in an alarming deterioration of air quality across the region, putting human health at risk.
